I am looking to buy a form of exercise equipment for the home. What will give me the best training in general? A treadmill, elliptical, etc. with something that is so expensive that I make sure I get something worth the money.

Pull-up bar, dumbbells, push-up is found (optional), exercise / yoga mat. You need anything else.
