A national fitness chain is considering opening a new gym in Lafayette, Indiana. They contacted a market research company to help them determine whether adults in Lafayette would be interested in joining a club so. From a list of all residential addresses in Lafayette, the company selects a simple random sample of 100 and mail a short questionnaire to everyone. To reduce bias in the study, researchers should: (check all that apply) a. It is unlikely that bias. It is a well-designed displays. b. Word to the questions in the questionnaire that makes people respond positively the idea of a sports club. C. Call people in the sample who do not respond to the written questionnaire. d. Just ask residents of Lafayette, who are already members of existing sports facilities. E. Increasing the sample size of 100 to 200.

B, A is good to introduce a bias because of the issue would lead the response in a address. C combined with the collection of all returned questionnaires and looking at the 100 responses. if only people watching may not have the answer one type of opinion. D would introduce a bias because people are predisposed to say yes, because we already are members of a sports facility. I will be good. Increase the sample size in general, help to obtain a more representative sample of the population.
