I have not been eating any red meat or white during the last 3 months. But consuming seafood and diary

though. However, I do not know what is going on with me. But I am feeling extremely tired, tired and weak. I went to the gym and was unable to continue my normal routine. I climb 25 stairs at home and I'm blowing my lungs out. I thought of quiting meat gives you more energy, but what is happening to me? I feel I can sleep all day. Any advice?

The possibility exists that you have iron deficiency anemia. Your body needs the element iron to make hemoglobin, a substance in red blood cells that allows them to carry oxygen. The category of people who are more likely to get the iron deficiency anemia are young, women, vegetarians, I am and I guess they are. Women especially need iron, due to many reasons, one is that we lose a lot of iron during the period, another is that we do not keep as iron than men. Vegetarians are susceptible to red meat, because it really is one of the best sources of iron, especially a type of iron known as heme iron, which is the more easily absorbed by human body and non-heme iron (the type in vegetables), while readily available in many vegetables is not absorbed as efficiently as heme iron. (I'm not dogging the vegetable diet but do not worry, I'm a fish just like you!) Remember exactly because I still eat dairy, eggs and fish, does not mean you have enough iron! 1 in 5 women who ate beef and get this, much less that people refrain from eating red meat. I am a fish I had anemia two years ago. Now, what can you do? Well, it's good to still eat eggs and dairy, because it has some iron. Among the best animal foods are not fortified with iron cereals, breads and pastas. Beans and peas, green leafy vegetables also contain some iron. You can buy iron supplements without a prescription phermacy, either by itself or as a multivitamin. Look for vitamins made specificaly for women, who usually have much iron. When you take supplements or eat foods rich in iron, combined with a little orange juice or lemon juice, as vitamin C in citrus fruits helps absorb iron. If increasing your iron intake does not help you should go see a Docter, as they may indicate internal bleeding or iron-related condition
