What is the best heart rate for training, also the best cardio for rugby?

I started using the gym cardio equipment training with a heart monitor. I wondered what is the most effective heart rate to burn fat and increase fitness. Secondly what is the best cardio-fitness equipment for rugby, treadmill, bike, bike-down, the rower, crosstrainer? I live in a place where there is space to adequately train beyond what the gym is my only option. Thanks for your advice. I am a 27-year-rugby male, around 87kg (194 pounds), 5'11 "of height

The final word is that you do a minute or two of anaerobic training in the middle of an aerobic session. I do not know if there's anything to it. This happens to a single heart rate for all of us and is accompanied by a rapid increase heart rate and decreased its operating rhythm. This is your anaerobic threshold or POD. Through proper training can delay the POD to be able to increase their capacity to deal with lactic acid for a long period of time or by pushing the POD higher.
