Looking for a good gym, affordable in London, UK?

I moved here in the U.S. about a month ago and have not been able to find a good gym near me that is a good price. I need a place with good modern free weight set up and easy access to the area of Victoria Station and Soho (38 Vic bus routes) .. Does anyone have any idea? I base gyms here are not too large compared to the average fitness in the U.S. or Canada. I visited an LA Fitness and free weight room was a few rusty dumbells at a cabinet of 30 pounds a month. I'm trying to stay under 45 pounds a month. ! Help did attempt Fitness First in Victoria, too small and lack large numbers of computers.
