How much should I pay for an LA Fitness membership?

From what I've read the price depends on how well you negotiate. I'm looking for a new club that just opening in my area. Any tips on negotiating the best price? What is the best price than any of you have received? I want to leave quotas initiation of everything and want to get the lowest possible monthly contract with no more than 1 year.

if a new club that probably has some low rates for early signers. I think it would have been completely free before opening. if you keep your eyes open they will have promotions from time to time .. but always and when they are not paying too much, probably makes more sense to join when you want and not when you are looking for more members.
