Life Fitness Stationary Bikes

What is an interval of a good workout for a stationary bike? "
I have a Life Fitness bike and going from the level of 1-12. I've been doing 5 minutes of heating at level 2 then I do 1 minute at level 5 keep at least 100 rotations per minute. Then I do 1 minute on level 7 with at least 100RPM before making a two-minute recovery at level 2. I do this for 25 minutes, after 5-10 minutes of cooldown. So everything is in addition to 35-40 minutes. Is this a good system to be doing to train range or am I doing for a long time? And I do so in the higher high? I also do weights / resistance training before or after the interval training?
You can do this in different ways. Craig Ballantyne and Alwyn Cosgrove, world renowned personal trainers and fitness experts do not recommend doing high intensity interval training to stretch that long. Plan one (which currently being done): Sprint slow heating for 1 minute until the recovery speed of 2 alternative that can run for 30 seconds and recover for 90, play with her. Plan Two: Progressive Resistance heated for five minutes increase the resistance to one degree every minute. For five minutes of the fall of resistance at a level of recovery. Repeat. Plan Three: Mix the two up – progressive resistance exercise and work on Sprint, at the same time!

Return to Fitness: $11.52 It wasn’t supposed to be this way. I was an endurance athlete, a two-time Hawaii Ironman finisher. Then middle age hit and my fitness crumbled overnight. After losing interest in fitness and suffering illnesses, Bill Katovsky–who once biked solo across the United States–couldn’t jog more than one hundred yards. But he willed himself to get back in shape after a ten-year hiatus. Katovsky’s personal journey to reclaim fitness also examines aging, body fat, nutrition, injuries, motivation, running, biking, and training. Return to Fitness offers essential advice from experts as well as inspirational stories from weekend warriors who have been there, and back. From the coauthor of Bike for Life and founder of Tri-Athlete Magazine, comes an indispensable guide to regaining health and fitness after illness, inactivity, or injury. |
