Tips for weight loss-an expert?
I am 17 years old, weight 190 pounds, recently joined a gym and exercising about 1 hour you are working on a treadmill for 30 minutes and exercise. Is this enough, or if I do more exercise? I, ma vegetarian would be appreciated if you have any suggestions on what type of food wshould eat. Also some tips on calorie needs, how much I burn and How much do I need intake, etc. .. thnx for helping me. Well, how tall are you? If you are 5 ', then you will need much more work than anyone that is 6 'tall. One hour of exercise is good, but if you're just walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes, then do not really get your heart rate there. One of the keys to fat loss is to keep your heart rate in the "zone". At his age should have no problem keeping in 140 beats per minute during a prolonged period of time and I do not think you're getting people from walking on the treadmill. I suggest running it, or try to that the elliptical machine instead. Now what exercises are you doing? If yoga, then we are doing great things for your balance and flexibility, but not both fat loss. If you are doing aerobics, then that is much better. If you are doing then you are a slave Taebo media. : P As to your diet, you're halfway there, as you are a vegetarian, but you'll have to eat less carbohydrates. Too much pasta, rice, bread, potatoes and other things are not good when 're trying to lose weight. Focus on green leafy vegetables. Think of salad with light vinaigrette. Think steamed vegetables. Think low-fat tofu. Finally, the consumption calories based on activity and age. You need to find out your BMR and daily caloric needs before cutting calories. Your best bet is to Google the term and work BMR from there. Once you have total calorie requirement (BMR + your daily needs) will cut about 500 – 800 calories than it really do not go below 1500 calories day. If you go below that, you risk going into starvation mode and ruining your metabolism. Remember that fat loss is a long process, do not be discouraged if not see the results immediately. This may take weeks before seeing a real difference. Good luck.
